Protecting Your SureShade Sunshade from Hurricanes and Extreme Weather
Boats in general are very vulnerable to damage during hurricanes and tropical storms. Although SureShade sunshade systems are built with quality marine grade construction and capable of withstanding cruising speeds up to 55 MPH on the water, our systems are not intended for use during hurricane and tropical storm force winds.
SureShade recommends customers take proper precautions to avoid damage during hurricanes, which includes fully retracting and securing the SureShade sunshade system in the unfortunate event of a hurricane or tropical storm.

Hurricane or Extreme Weather Damage
SureShade automatic and manual sunshade systems come with a one year parts warranty that covers normal wear and tear. Any damage incurred from a hurricane, tropical storm or other natural disaster should be submitted as a claim with your boat insurance company.
