Marine Marketers of America presents SureShade with an Award for Monthly e-Newsletter “Shady Side of Boating” at 2011 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
Marine Marketers of America (MMA) announced SureShade as the winner for the Best Digital Newsletter category at its fourth-annual 2011 Neptune Awards for Marketing Excellence held during a luncheon co-produced by Boating Writers International at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The award represents the second consecutive year SureShade won a Neptune Award for Marketing Excellence.
The SureShade monthly e-newsletter, Shady Side of Boating, was noted by judges as being selected as the winner based on its simplicity, its focus on boaters’ experience and a great integration of social media.
The award-winning newsletter by SureShade is distributed once a month to boat builders, boat dealers, industry professionals, private boat owners and other newsletter subscribers from www.sureshade.com. Each month highlights the latest news “from the shady side of boating” such as: new retractable sunshade product enhancements, sunshade installations on various boat brands, video and photo features, boat dealer spotlights and customer resources. Newsletter recipients can also easily access SureShade social media connections which include Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and the SureShade blog.
In addition to SureShade’s 2011 Neptune Award for Marketing Excellence in the Digital Newsletter category, SureShade won a 2010 Neptune Award in the Best National Print Advertisement category last year for their “Experience the Shady Side of Boating” ad in Boston Whaler Magazine.
