SureShade Employees Participate in Walk & 5K Run Benefiting Melanoma International Foundation’s Patient Services Program
SureShade was honored to support the 2019 Melanoma International Foundation Safe from the Sun Walk and 5K Run as part of their ongoing company commitment to sun safety.
In addition to sponsoring the event for the second consecutive year, SureShade employees and family members participated in the Safe From the Sun Walk and 5K Run held April 28, 2019 in Wayne, PA – a suburb of their headquarters in Philadelphia. The employee team was led by SureShade production leader Justin Palan, who has participated in the event for 6 years in memory of his girlfriend’s father.
“I can’t say how proud I am to work for a company like SureShade that is so committed to the issue of sun safety,” says Palan. “The funds raised go a long way toward the treatment and prevention of melanoma skin cancer.”
