OEMs showcase 100 SureShade-equipped boat models at 2017 Miami International Boat Show and Yachts Miami Beach; Two Models with SureShade Win NMMA Innovation Awards
SureShade, the U.S. designer and manufacturer of patented retractable sunshade systems for the marine industry, has reached a new company milestone of 100 boat models available with SureShade as a factory option or standard feature at the 2017 Miami International Boat Show and Yachts Miami Beach events.
Among the 100 boat models featured in Miami, 12 new boat models debuted with SureShade as an option, demonstrating that SureShade continues to dominate as the boat shade of choice with builders.

Two boat brands featuring SureShade were also honored as winners of 2017 Miami International Boat Show Innovation Awards for their groundbreaking new consumer marine products:
Scout Boats won an Innovation Award in the deck equipment & hardware category for their patent-pending Articulating Rocket Launcher – a product that facilitates easier access to fishing rods as well as the use of SureShade’s sunshade system in conjunction with their rocket launchers. The Scout Articulating Rocket Launcher is used alongside SureShade’s ATF automated shade on both the 420 LXF and new 380 LXF models.
Sea Ray received an Innovation Award in the cuddy cabin and bowrider boats category for their new 400 SLX featuring SureShade’s ATF automated boat shade. Sea Ray leads the industry with 17 boat models offering SureShade sunshade systems.
Also noteworthy for SureShade in 2017 is Boston Whaler’s debut of their 380 Outrage equipped with SureShade – a model that succeeds their successful 370 Outrage that debuted 8 years ago as SureShade’s first factory-installed boat model and celebrated by the industry with a 2009 Innovation Award.
