SureShade Automated Shade Highlighted as Factory-Install Option on 510 Sundancer at Sea Ray Homecoming Event; 510DA with Shade Reflects Sea Ray Investment in Design Innovation and Luxury Features
PHILADELPHIA, PA – September 21, 2012 – SureShade, the designer and manufacturer of retractable sunshade systems for the marine industry, announces that Sea Ray has joined their growing list of boat manufacturers offering SureShade factory-install options as they introduced their 2013 new model lineup with the all-new 510 Sundancer (510DA) featuring an automated sunshade system.
The 510DA with automated shade made its private debut at the Sea Ray Homecoming 2012 event to more than 500 Sea Ray boat owners, dealers and guests at Sea Ray’s headquarters in Knoxville, TN September 13-14. Designed to introduce Sea Ray’s newest boats and innovative technologies, homecoming attendees were given an exclusive look at the all-new 510 Sundancer with Sea Ray’s first-ever factory-installed shade option.
Sea Ray’s most spacious sport yacht ever, the 510DA further raises the luxury level of the brand with the inclusion of the SureShade automated shade by giving boaters the choice to extend shade comfort beyond the hardtop to the entire aft cockpit at the touch of a button. SureShade’s self-supported framework eliminates the need for inhibitive and unattractive support poles, maintaining the distinctive open cockpit experience of the Sundancer line. Boaters can enjoy the ease of extending and retracting shade without physical handling of canvas.
