Annual Sea Ray Dealer Meeting unveils their latest sport boat that is made in the shade with a SureShade sunshade option
New boat model debuts are a much anticipated event at boat manufacturer annual dealer meetings. It’s a chance for dealers to climb on-board, check out new features and get excited about selling the new models to their boater clients.
This year’s annual Sea Ray Dealer Meeting held September 12-14, 2013 at Lake Lanier in Georgia was another exciting debut year for dealers as Sea Ray unveiled their new models, including the all-new (and much anticipated) 350 SLX.
Sea Ray is promoting the 350 SLX as “Made in the Shade”, and the automatic retractable cockpit shade by SureShade is a big reason for it.
The boat is designed for watersports fun, and a fully retractable shade ensures that boaters do not compromise comfort and sun protection while enjoying a day out on the water. When retracted, boaters can choose to lounge and play in the sun… and then easily extend canvas back out over the cockpit when it heats up.
As dealers swarmed the new 350 SLX it was clear that this boat will be hot with boaters (although we anticipate boaters under the shade won’t be too hot!). After the dealer meeting, the Sea Ray 350 SLX will be making its commercial debut at the 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Sea Ray 510 Sundancer with automated shade
The 350 SLX is the first Sea Ray sport boat model to come with a SureShade retractable sunshade option, but the second Sea Ray boat model to offer our shade as an option.
Last year, at the 2012 dealer meeting, Sea Ray unveiled the all-new 510 Sundancer as their first express cruiser to offer a SureShade retractable shade.
The SureShade team was proud to attend the annual dealer meeting and meet with Sea Ray dealers first-hand to answer any questions about the shade option for the 350SLX and 510 Sundancer… as well as aftermarket installations of the shade.
As Sea Ray rolls out our sunshade options on these new models many boaters have asked about how they too can get a shade on other models.
Working with Sea Ray dealers, our shade has been installed on many other Sea Ray models, including the 250SLX, 470 Sundancer and 410 Sundancer.
