Larson dealer meeting showcases the Escape pontoon boat with hardtop option featuring two automated shades
Dealers for the Larson Boat Group recently gathered in St. Cloud Minnesota for their 2014 Worldwide Dealer Meeting, which included a showcase of their new pontoon line called Escape.
The new Larson Escape pontoon will offer boaters a hardtop option that can also be outfitted with not one, but TWO SureShade automated sunshade systems.
The shades extend from the hardtop in opposite directions, giving full shade coverage on deck for both aft and bow of the boat.
The two electrically powered shades will be able to retract and extend separately, so one or both shades can be extended or retracted to the hardtop.
The Escape will be the first boat model in the Larson Group to offer a SureShade sunshade as a factory-install option… and it certainly caught the attention of dealers at the event.
Dealers attending were able to see the shade up close as part of the hardtop option. The display allowed them to test out the shade option and see the ease of operation first-hand.
Starcraft Majestic 256
The Larson Escape is the second pontoon boat model to offer the dual automated shade option by SureShade. In 2012, Starcraft Marine also launched their new Majestic 256 Starliner with both a hardtop and dual SureShade options.
Because pontoons are focused on deck comfort and entertaining, SureShade is the perfect addition for pontoon boat owners looking for a more convenient way to have shade on board.
And for new Escape owners looking to “escape the sun” – the dual shade meets that challenge.
The Larson Escape pontoon is expected to make its commercial debut at the 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
