Every year we see a BIG number of boats at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with SureShade – lots of boats with lots of shades. It also seems that we can count on adding about 20 new boats to our factory-install portfolio every year… and FLIBS 2018 was no exception!
From all the new SureShade-equipped boat debuting to other new milestones in our OEM client portfolio, there’s a number of exciting things to recap for SureShade at FLIBS 2018.

20 New Boats Factory-Equipped with SureShade
Boat builders debuted 20 new boat models with SureShade at the 2018 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show – taking our factory-install tally to well over 125 boat models equipped with SureShade.
Ranging from 27 to 73 feet in size, new boat models with SureShade covered everything from sport boats and center consoles to mega yachts.

We welcomed 6 new boat brands to our OEM portfolio of nearly 60 boat brands carrying SureShade.

4 New Flybridge Boats with SureShade
A big trend we are seeing in new boat designs is extending shade on a flybridge. Without the restriction of support poles, SureShade extends views on flybridge boats while offering boaters improved sun protection and comfort.
SureShade debuted on 4 flybridge boats at FLIBS 2018 – Absolute Yachts Navetta 73, Absolute Yachts 58 Fly, Fleming Yachts 78 and Sabre 66 Dirigo Fly.
3 New Boats with Mega Shade
When boats have a mega need for shade, our M3 Automated Mega Boat Shade features a two-stage extension of up to 10 feet.
New boats featuring our M3 mega shade include Sabre 66 Dirigo Fly (cockpit), Fleming Yachts 78 (flybridge) and Hinckley Talaria 48 (cockpit).
