Delta Powerboats honored with award from Motor Boat & Yachting magazine; Delta 88 is their second model featuring a SureShade to win the award

Many of the world’s most innovative boat and yacht builders choose to feature our retractable sunshade systems as one of  their must-have design features… and one that many boaters come to expect in a truly innovative boat design.

So naturally we are thrilled when our clients like Scandinavian boat builder Delta Powerboats are recognized for their design innovations and smart use of new marine technology (like our patented telescoping sunshade system!)

Delta’s latest yacht, the Delta 88 IPS featuring a unique carbon fibre sports cruiser design, was recently announced a 2015 Motor Boat Awards Winner in the Custom Yacht category.

 
With over 100 years of continuous publication, Motor Boat & Yachting is Europe’s premier motor cruising magazine. They selected the Delta 88 as the exclusive winner of the Custom Yacht category – one of 11 categories in the annual award program.
 
The Delta 88 features SureShade’s automated sunshade system – an innovative design feature that extends canvas from the hardtop for full cockpit shade covered. The electrically powered shade then neatly retracts canvas back using telescoping framework technology.

Two Models with Shades – Two Awards

Delta Powerboats also won a 2013 Motor Boat Award for their Delta 54 IPS in the sportcruisers over 45 feet category by Motor Boat Monthly & Yachting magazines.

And yes, the award-winning Delta 54 IPS also featured a SureShade automated sunshade system!
