Retractable Marine Sunshade by SureShade will be Available as a Factory-Install Option on the Brand New 315 Conquest; Boston Whaler to Launch 315 Boat Model at 2012 Miami International Boat Show
MIAMI, FL – February 16, 2012 – SureShade, the designer and manufacturer of retractable sunshade systems for the marine industry, announces the debut of their sunshade as a factory-install option on Boston Whaler’s brand-new 315 Conquest at the 2012 Miami International Boat Show in Miami, FL. The 315 Conquest is the third Boston Whaler boat model to feature SureShade retractable canvas systems as a factory-install option for boaters.
The 315 Conquest features the SureShade manual sunshade option, a patented lightweight retractable canvas system that operates with a simple hand lever to easily extend or retract canvas to control shade coverage in the cockpit. The sunshade system is installed on the hardtop of the boat during the manufacturing process at Boston Whaler’s factory and is available as a value-add option with new 315CQ boat purchases. As with each new factory-install boat model, SureShade worked closely with the manufacturer product development and engineering teams to ensure the best design and installation placement for the sunshade option.
The availability of SureShade on the 315CQ follows the successful commercial launch of two other Boston Whaler boat models offering SureShade as a factory-install option. In 2011, the newly redesigned 285 Conquest launched with the SureShade manual sunshade option, and in 2009 the 370 Outrage debuted at the Miami Boat Show with a fully integrated automated sunshade system option.
