A round-up of 20 new shady boats (from A to Z)
Each year, more and more boat builders are choosing to debut new boat models incorporating a SureShade retractable sunshade system.
Builders chose to showcase new boat models with their most desirable factory options, and we’re proud to see our patented telescoping boat shades as an American-made component preferred by builders and demanded by boaters.
At the 2016 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show we saw a record number of 20 NEW boat models equipped with SureShade – for a total of 85 boat models at the show available with a SureShade sunshade as a factory-installed option.
New boat models ranged from 29 to 88 feet in length – from center consoles to crossovers to luxury flybridge models.
The 2016 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show was a great showcase of all the SureShade-equipped new models available, but it also shows current boat owners how SureShade can enhance a variety of boat sizes and styles for aftermarket installations.

Azimut 40 Verve
Azimut debuted their new crossover the 40 Verve – specifically choosing our American-made components like SureShade to appeal to the U.S. market. The 40 Verve features the SureShade ATF automated shade.
Carver C52 Coupe
Carver’s 3rd boat to feature our shade (following C43 Coupe & C37 Coupe), the new C52 Coupe features the SureShade ATF automated shade.
Cobalt R35
One of two boats debuting from Cobalt at the show (see R30 next), Cobalt now has 4 boats with our shade. The R35 debuted with the SureShade ATF automated shade.
Cobalt R30
The R30 debuted with our newest shade product – the SureShade RTX Pull-Out Shade – for fast & easy access to shade in the cockpit.
Crownline E29XS
The first Crownline to offer our shade as a factory installed option, the new E29XS offers our SureShade RTX Pull-Out Shade for easy shade coverage in the cockpit.
Delta Carbon 88 IPS
Making her U.S. debut, the Delta 88 IPS (100% Carbon #Consideryachtingdisrupted), was the largest boat at the show to showcase our SureShade ATF automated shade.
Formula 430 Super Sport Crossover
Formula wowed the crowds at FLIBS with their exciting new crossover, the 430SSC, featuring a SureShade ATF automated shade. Formula now offers 5 models with our shades.
Formula 350 CBR with Outboards
A new version of their popular 350 Crossover Bowrider (also available with our shade), the 350 CBR with Outboards is also available with a SureShade ATF automated shade.
Grady-White Freedom 275
Grady-White continues to offer our retractable sunshade systems on many new models – from their Express to their Freedom series. The Freedom 275 was featured at FLIBS with our MTF Manual Shade as a factory option – our manual shade is offered on almost all their Freedom models under 30 feet.
Intrepid 375 Open
Intrepid was one of our “shady surprises” at FLIBS – many boaters that buy built-to-order Intrepids opt for our shade – and we were thrilled to see our ATF automated shade showcased as an option on their 375 Open.
Neptunus 650 Express
Although Neptunus had previously displayed our ATF automated shade on their 650 Express, this is the first time we were able to see it on display at FLIBS in all it’s glory!
Nor-Tech 450CC
Sporting 5 outboards (yes, FIVE), its no surprise that Nor-Tech wanted an electrically powered sunshade system by choosing the SureShade ATF automated shade as an option for their powerful 450CC!
Regal 330 OBX
Regal displayed their 2nd boat to offer our ATF automated shade (already outfitting their 53 Coupe), with the debut of the 33 OBX. (Also look for our shade on the hardtop version of their 29 OBX soon).
Sabre 48 Salon Express Flybridge
Another shady surprise! Sabre debuted their 48 Salon Express Flybridge with our ATF automated shade – showing boaters how the shade can provide full coverage in the cockpit without interfering with steps to the flybridge.
Sea Ray L550Fly
#1 of 4 new shady Sea Rays at the show – the new L550Fly features a SureShade ATF automated shade on the upper bridge. SureShade is available as an option on ALL Sea Ray L-Class models.
Sea Ray 460 Sundancer
#2 of 4 new shady Sea Rays at the show – the new 460 Sundancer features a SureShade ATF automated shade as a factory option.
Sea Ray 350 Sundancer Coupe
#3 of 4 new shady Sea Rays at the show – the new 350 Sundancer Coupe features a SureShade ATF automated shade as a factory option (also available on the 350 Sundancer).
Sea Ray 350 SLX with Outboards
#4 of 4 new shady Sea Rays at the show – the new 350 SLX with Outboards features a SureShade ATF automated shade as a factory option, which is also available on the 350 SLX with inboards. The new 310 SLX with Outboards also offers SureShade ATF on their hardtop option.
SeaVee 390Z
Our first SeaVee model to offer SureShade as a factory option, the new 390Z features our ATF automated shade.
Viking 75 Motor Yacht
Last, but certainly not least, Viking Yachts displayed their first model to offer SureShade as a factory option (and our second biggest boat at the show) with our automated shade featured on the 75 Motor Yacht.
