12 new boat models debut factory-equipped with SureShade boat shades at the 2018 Miami Boat Show and Miami Yacht Show
The Miami FL heat was on in February, but luckily there were PLENTY of shady boats on the docks of the 2018 Miami Boat Show AND Miami Yacht Show.
With over 100 boat models already equipped with SureShade sunshade systems on display, boat builders chose to debut 12 more boat models offering SureShade.
Some additional highlights of the show include:
- First 2 boats to offer our new ATF-SG Silent Glide Shade with Boston Whaler 380 Realm and Grady-White Canyon 456
- FIVE new brands now offering factory-installed SureShade systems – Absolute Yachts, ArrowCat, Beneteau, Chaparral and World Cat

Absolute Yachts 58 Fly
We are thrilled to announce Absolute Yachts is now a SureShade OEM client and offers SureShade ATF automated boat shade as a factory option on the new 58 Fly. We got our first peak of the new Absolute 58 Fly at the boot Dusseldorf event where it was named a 2018 Motor Boat Award Winner in flybridges up to 60 feet category.
ArrowCat 420
Another new OEM client for SureShade, ArrowCat debuted their flagship ArrowCat 420 with a SureShade factory option. Their innovative power catamaran design extends even more space with a comfortably shady cockpit thanks to the SureShade ATF automated shade system.
Belzona 40CC
Belzona debuted their much anticipated 40 footer with the new Belzona 40CC featuring a factory-installed SureShade ATF automated boat shade. The fully integrated installation provides maximum comfort in the cockpit when extended, and then easily retracts to virtually disappear into the hardtop.
Beneteau Gran Turismo 50
Beneteau has also become a SureShade OEM client with the debut of the Beneteau Gran Turismo 50 factory equipped with a SureShade ATF automated boat shade. The fully integrated shade option maximizes indoor-outdoor space with the touch of a button.
Boston Whaler 380 Realm
The new Boston Whaler 380 Realm was one of first boats equipped with our new ATF-SG Silent Glide Shade. The 380 Realm is the second model in Boston Whaler’s exciting new Realm series (both with SureShade).
Chaparral 307 SSX & Chaparral 337 SSX
Debuting as a new SureShade OEM client, Chaparral now offers TWO boat models with SureShade! The Chaparral 307 SSX features a sporty hardtop complete with a SureShade ATF automated boat shade system. Chaparral also announced that the Chaparral 337 SSX features the same SureShade factory option.
Grady-White Canyon 456
The biggest addition to the Grady-White fleet, the new Grady-White Canyon 456 is one of the first boat models to come equipped with our new ATF-SG Silent Glide Shade system. When extended, SureShade’s automated shade system extends comfort for everyone in the spacious cockpit.
Nor-Tech 450 Sport and Nor-Tech 390 Sport
Nor-Tech announced two new models available factory-equipped with SureShade – Nor-Tech 450 Sport (now STANDARD) and Nor-Tech 390 Sport (option). Both models prove that the need for speed can also come with shade!
Sea Ray Sundancer 520
Joining the recent FLIBS debut of the 520 Fly with SureShade, the new Sea Ray Sundancer 520 debuted at the 2018 Miami Yachts Show. The Sundancer 520 comes equipped with a SureShade ATF automated boat shade system to extend cockpit comfort.
World Cat 280DC-X
Our final new OEM client at Miami, the World Cat 280DC-X debuted with a SureShade MTF manual boat shade system. Available as a factory option, the MTF shade requires no power to operate it, uses SureShade’s patented telescoping framework and manual shade design and, most importantly, requires no tedious set-up whenever cockpit shade is needed.
